We entered Spelman's beloved gates in August of 1999. Our new homes became Abby, HH, Packard, LLC and Manley. On April 11, 2000, we celebrated our first Founder's Day and honored the tradition as we wore our white dresses, black shoes and flesh toned stockings. The terms ADW, Market Friday and names like Pearl Cleage and Beverly Guy-Sheftall are dear to our hearts. We sang the Spelman Hymn in crowded convocations in Sister's Chapel accompanied by Dr. Joyce on the organ. We remember the legacy of Dr. Zenobia Hikes. We began our journey with Dr. Audrey Forbes Manley and ended it with Dr. Tatum. Sisters, it's time to come home. Please save the date for our ten year reunion May 15-19, 2013!
